This rare beauty is Blossom, a Dalmatian that came from difficult circumstances. In a previous home where her owner kept far too many dogs, the environment was fraught with danger, fights and fear — which naturally had an impact on her.
Blossom is a sweetheart that just wants to love and be loved. And since her arrival at ARK last June, she has made progress in leaps and bounds. She has lost much of her fear and learned to relax. Just as her name implies, she is blossoming into a more confident, happier and loving dog.
Though it takes time to earn her trust, Blossom will jump for joy at the mere sight of you once she gets comfortable. She’s a big girl and already 10 years old but very sprightly and all muscle. Her two loves are food and walks. While out and about, she’s on cloud nine and loves to give affectionate licks to whoever comes her way.
But she also knows how to take it real easy. When she doesn’t feel like moving around, Blossom will just lie around on her blanket and occasionally call out for attention. We hear you, girl — and we’re hoping someone out there will soon come to your rescue!
